Change Process

At
Communispond, our priority is not only communications excellence
but behavior change. We know full well that bad habits that have
been acquired and committed to memory over many years will never
be eradicated by a brief classroom interlude. So we've created an
extended performance change process that begins well in advance
of classroom attendance and continues well after participants have
returned to the job.
Before
Learning
time is too precious to be devoted to nonessentials. So we cull
through each communications discipline to identify the handful of
key concepts and skills that must be mastered
in order to achieve success on the job. Then we evaluate every learning
methodology to determine the most efficient way to convey this expertise
so it can be rapidly assimilated and transferred to the job.
During
Communispond courses are
light on lecture and heavy on self-discovery and realistic practice.
Ongoing coaching by expert instructors gives you personal feedback
on baseline skills and learning progress. Videotaped exercises
(where appropriate) allow you to examine your own performance and
determine for yourself where improvement is needed.
After
All Communispond courses come with a reinforcement process to
help support performance on the job. Regular email mini lessons
are delivered to your desktop to provide encouragement and additional
skill-use examples. Take-away job aids give you a helping hand until
you have achieved full proficiency. Managers and HRD staff are brought
on board to ensure that your work environment supports you every
step of the way. Some programs offer a follow-up classroom learning opportunity.
