A Communispond Case Study Summary
When your managers have to deliver a presentation for your top
clients
A major Insurance Company
The management team of a big insurance company was hosting a major
marketing event their top clients. Approximatively a 100 people
showed up for this event at a Mid-Town Hotel in New York. The morning
session was a case study presented by a Harvard Business School
Professor, followed in the afternoon by a company presentation regarding
their products/services.
The younger members of the Management Committee were displeased
with their regular, "canned" presentation. They thought
the visuals were too complex, and not understandable, and felt very
uncomfortable with the whole concept
We were called in "blind", initially for a half day,
to listen to the presentation and give them feedback. The feed back
resulted in Communispond spending 3 days of rebuilding the presentation
with management team, on site. The 3 days also included a full presentations
skills training with practice at the hotel, and a meeting with the
hotel's A/V personnel.
Results: Presentation and visuals were received well by the
audience; the team got very good feed back. The amount of business
generated from this event was 25% higher then at previous, similar
events
